Dear Students and Parents,

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding the WAITING LIST for the upcoming January 12-16, 2023 ski trip for Montgomery County High Schools.

Due to overwhelming demand, the January 12-16, 2024, Canada Ski Trip reached its maximum capacity and sold out in late October. Walter Johnson, Churchill, and Walt Whitman high schools quickly filled 80% of the available spots, leaving many students from these schools on the waiting list. 

Recently, we secured additional buses and accommodations for January 12-16, enabling the roommates of  students on the waiting list from those 3 schools (WJ, Churchill and Whitman) to register and fill the new spaces.

What about BCC, Richard Montgomery, Quince Orchard, Northwest, Clarksburg, Poolesville, Wootton, and other schools?
Good news for ALL Students including:  All on Waiting list, All New Students wishing to attend and All those already Registered who can transfer to the new trip date! 

Concerning students registered from BCC, Richard Montgomery, Quince Orchard, Northwest, Clarksburg, Poolesville, Wootton, and others. These schools currently have a significant number of students on the waiting list. Unfortunately, we cannot provide additional spaces for the January 12-16, 2024 trip. But there is good news for all!

This exciting new trip January 26-30, 2024, is perfectly aligned with the end of the quarter grading period and the Teacher Workday Holiday Weekend, guaranteeing no disruption to school days.

This fresh January 26-30, 2024 trip date provides an excellent chance for ALL currently registered, WAIT LISTED students and NEW students interested from BCC, Richard Montgomery, Quince Orchard, Northwest, Clarksburg, Poolesville, Wootton, and other Montgomery County High Schools (except Walter Johnson, Churchill, and Whitman) to attend.

We've secured enough hotel space at the Chateau Frontenac and buses for everyone!

WHAT ABOUT MY FRIENDS REGISTERED ON THE JANUARY 12-16 TRIP?

• Your friends currently registered have been sent a form permitting them to TRANSFER their reservation to the new End of Quarter Trip, January 26-30, 2024 to attend with you.
• This new trip is now open to ALL students from BCC, Richard Montgomery, Quince Orchard, Northwest, Clarksburg, Poolesville, Wootton  who wish to transfer from the January 12-16, 2024 as well as ALL students on the WAITING LIST and ALL NEW students interested in attending from all other Montgomery County High Schools (except Walter Johnson, Churchill, and Whitman).
• Everyone can go! Plenty of space, for now. Please Register Early. This Trip Will Sell Out!
