Greetings,
I'm Dan Callahan, the Director of Ski Travel, headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia. We are thrilled to announce our return with a comprehensive trip schedule for Winter 2024! Last winter, we were fortunate to run our trips on a limited basis due to the Covid crisis. Prior to the pandemic, we maintained uninterrupted operations every winter since 1981, providing skiing experiences to over 132,000 students from VA, MD and the D.C. area to Québec, Canada. Ski Travel addresses the demand for secure, supervised youth recreational travel. Today, schools rarely sponsor ski clubs or trips as they did in previous generations. The landscape has evolved, with external providers organizing and managing trips. For parents, it can be challenging to assess the reliability of these tour operators without school endorsement. As a father of fourteen children, I empathize with parents' need for confidence in the company entrusted with their children. At Ski Travel, students are our sole priority, and their safety and security always come first.

Since 2017, Ski Travel has been privileged to accommodate our student ski groups at two of Canada's finest hotels, the Chateau Frontenac and Chateau Laurier in Québec City. We proudly hold the title of the leading student group tour operator to Québec, Canada. We are well-regarded in the Virginia, Maryland, and D.C.-metro area for organizing outstanding, secure trips. This success is partly attributed to our stringent Policy Agreement, which prohibits the possession, use, or consumption of drugs or alcohol. We set the right tone from the beginning.

Remarkably, the children of many of our original customers from the 1980's and 90's are now joining our trips. I established Ski Travel in 1981 during my high school years, and now, approaching my sixtieth birthday, my older children are accompanying me. Skiing is a lifelong passion that can unite families. This was a superbly organized and tremendously fun trip. Our high school senior, 17.5yo daughter went on the trip during MLK weekend from Maryland to Quebec City. From the moment we signed up to picking up our daughter. The website and texts were promptly updating families at all times. I wish there were more organized trips that are this spectacular and very reasonably priced (top notch hotel, 3 days skiing, breakfast included, luxury coaches, several chaperones per bus).
